I just got an email back from the Tribunal in our Diocese saying that having my marriage recognized by Radical Sanation would be “very unlikely” and that I’d have to have it convalidated. My husband probably won’t go for it, especially if he has to go through any marriage formation (ie Pre Cana, etc.). I thought they did Radical Sanation if it going the ‘regular’ route would cause problems in the household.
My husband knows how important my faith is, and is ‘allowing’ (lack of a better word) me to raise the kids Catholic. He thinks religion is foolish, but doesn’t ever criticize or stop me from practicing.

I just want to participate fully in the Mass. I don’t know what to do now.

thanks, but that’s pretty much things I already knew. The only thing I didn’t know, and guess would be why I was told straight out no is where it says a “strong reaction” is not reason enough.

Thanks for trying to help me out though, I do appreciate it!
