    Anyone out there using Cyclebeads? Just saw an advertisement for them online, and thought it was a great idea. I’m not sure I’d be comfortable just using them alone, however – I’d still at least chart mucus.

    Just seemed to me like a nice visual reminder of “where things were” in the cycle.

    For those not familiar- it’s a ring of color coded beads representing the different days in the fertility cycle. You move a marker around the circle to map where you were each day.

    For those who use these – useful tool or do you have a criticism of them?

    I understand they’re only accurate if your periods are regular.



    My guess would be that their accuracy would be about as good as the rhythm method. I’m not that familiar with them though. But if you’re only tracking your days, you could be missing signs. Still tracking mucous is a really good idea if you choose to do it!
