how is the creighton model used? i am from india and we dont have many nfp teachers here. throughout india, we only have 3 STM teachers. i have a 7 month old baby. i love children and would like to have more. but right now i have to use nfp to postpone pregnacy. can anybody help me out.

Below are the links to the creighton model site and fertility care. I’d suggest you start there. Even if you can’t find a teacher, they should be able to send you a booklet and chart to get you started.

The basics of the program is that you check for fertile mucus each time you use the restroom. You chart your most fertile sign you see for that day. It’s pretty simple and once you get used to it and have a more clear understanding of what your body is dooing, it is EXREMELY easy to use. We began using it a year ago and found it to work much better for us than Billings because I’ve essentially been nursing for the last 4 years!

    Good Luck!

thank you so much. Have visited the sites.

There is a free ebook at that gives pretty much everything you need to know about nfp. I have just started using it and I am finding it very helpful. I am still breastfeeding my six month old, and this book tells you how to chart fertility during breastfeeding.
